Vibe check
Vibe Check is a podcast used as a discussion outlet for a wide range of culturally relevant topics. Our peer leaders dive deep into issues around sexual health, sex-positivity, and social health-based advocacy, using elements of interview, conversation and scripting. Peer leaders also gain valuable media and marketing experience by fully engaging throughout the entire development process, including recording, production and editing, and digital art creation.
And some of that content is just sitting on our Instagram waiting for you! From podcasts to art activism, trivia nights, open mics. Not following us yet? Let’s fix that.
Missionary Impossible
Our resident trivia game show, Missionary Impossible, creates fun and interactive games as a way to educate and entertain young people on various teen-related topics. Here our peer leaders deepen their presentation and information delivery skills, all while promoting serious topics in a lively and engaging fashion.
For the people
For the People uses mixed digital media (such as visual podcasts, collage, digital illustration) to explore social and racial justice, Black history, current events, our situation as a country (example LGBTQ+ and voter’s rights), where and how we’ve made progress, the people’s needs and opportunities. As activists, our peer leaders create educational materials and community resources through workshops, interviews, and infographics.
Our YouTube is home to our PSA (Public Service Announcement) series created by teens for teens to encourage social change and healthy decision making around STIs, HIV, and pregnancy. Content also covers sexually transmitted infections and Human Immunodeficiency Virus.
